What we do
Software is only half the story. Procurement needs expertise, not just automation.

Suplioo Platform handles the data. The Technical Review Unit handles everything that requires human judgment, reading between the lines of a spec, knowing which sub to call, understanding when something is actually at risk.

Our specialists have worked in construction procurement. They know how team operate, how trade partners think, and what it takes to keep a project moving when things don't go to plan.

The Review Unit is available as a standalone add-on to any Suplioo software plan, from a single spec review session to full weekly embedded support.

We join your weekly project coordination meeting
We attend your weekly coordination call, walk through the live procurement log with your team, flag anything at risk, and leave with a clear list of actions, tracked and followed up.
We contact your subs directly
When a trade partner goes quiet, stops responding, or needs chasing, your Review Unit reaches out on your behalf. Your PM never has to track anyone down.
We catch what the software misses
Specification nuances, ambiguous scope allocations, design changes with hidden procurement impact, our specialists review everything and flag it before it becomes a problem on site.
We're available around the clock
Every Suplioo plan includes 24/7 chat access to real procurement specialists. Average first response is 15 to 30 minutes.
Who we support

Built for every role
on the team

The Review Unit works for both team. Below are the GC-side roles we support most often — the same support is delivered to owner's representatives and construction managers on the owner side, scoped to their role.

Project Manager
You focus on the project. We focus on procurement.
Your PM gets a weekly summary of every procurement action taken, every sub contacted, and every risk flagged, without having to chase a single follow-up themselves.
Weekly procurement summary delivered before your coordination meeting
All sub and vendor follow-ups handled, no inbox chasing
Design change impacts identified and coordinated immediately
Clear escalation path, anything critical flagged before it is a problem
Superintendent
The high-level picture for the field.
Your superintendent gets a clear, high-level read on procurement: what is arriving, what is running late, and what could affect the work on site, without digging through the log.
High-level status on every material headed to the site
Early warning on anything that could stall field work
Delivery timing visible so crews and sequencing can be planned
Only what matters on site, no procurement detail to wade through
Project Engineer
Specification clarity from day one.
Your PE works directly with the Review Unit to confirm spec extraction accuracy, resolve allocation questions, and ensure every procurement item is correctly assigned before it goes to trades.
Spec review session, every item confirmed by division before kickoff
CSI allocation questions resolved same day
Revision tracking, changed sections identified and actioned immediately
Procore submittal register cross-checked against procurement log
Project Director
High-level overview. A heads-up when it counts.
Your project director sees the procurement picture at a glance, and gets an early heads-up when something starts to slip, so they can step in and help the team before it becomes a schedule problem.
High-level overview across the project's procurement
Early alert when an item starts to put the schedule at risk
The context to step in and support the team when needed
No day-to-day detail, just what needs director attention
How we work

From onboarding to
weekly embedded support

The Review Unit is up and running within 24 hours of your first contact. Here is how an engagement takes shape.

1
Onboarding call
We meet with your PM and PE to understand the project, review the spec PDF, confirm what's been extracted, and align on your procurement schedule and critical items. This call takes 45-60 minutes and is where we catch everything before it goes to trades.
2
Spec review confirmed
Every procurement item reviewed by division. Long lead items flagged. CSI allocations confirmed. Any questions resolved with your PE. The confirmed procurement log is ready to send to trades, nothing gets to them unverified.
3
Trade outreach begins
Your Review Unit sends the procurement checklist to all trade partners. Order-by dates confirmed. Vendors identified. Long lead items escalated to ordering immediately. Automated follow-up schedule activated in Suplioo.
4
First review meeting
We prepare a full procurement report so your team is prepped for the OAC meeting and client updates. When needed, we join directly. We also attend separate trade partner or subcontractor meetings when the project requires it.
5
Ongoing support
How often we meet is up to you: every week, every two weeks, or once a month, depending on your project and the plan you choose. Between meetings we run automated check-ins to trades, escalate non-responders, coordinate design changes, and send a written report on your cadence. The Review Unit stays embedded for the full project, or as long as you need us.

Spec review and procurement log
We present and work alongside the contractor and trades to make sure every product and material is captured. Our team works with the trades so they confirm or correct the procurement log against the right materials.
Schedule upload and correlation
The Suplioo team reviews your construction schedule against the procurement log, finds the problems, and brings solutions back to the contractor.
Direct vendor and sub outreach
We contact vendors and subs directly and track every design or owner change. If a product or material is discontinued, it is flagged and held for submittal approval before the order is placed, so nothing in the procurement log changes without you knowing.
Design change coordination
When a design change lands, we identify every affected procurement item and coordinate the update with the trades responsible.
24/7 live support
Live support around the clock, plus hands-on help with reports and training inside the platform.
